Job's Daughters has its very own philanthropic project called H.I.K.E. This is a world wide fund that helps provide hearing devices for children whose parents cannot afford to do so.  For more information click here.
This term we have also turned our attention towards another philanthropic project.  The Kids Kottage is a local entity who provides children with a safe place to live while they are waiting for a foster home or for their families to be stable enough for them to go back home.  Kids Kottage services anywhere between 30-75 children at a time. The ages range from infancy to 17 years old. We have 2 separate projects going on for them. The first goes until the end of January. We will be collecting new or gently used pajamas, slippers, and coats for the children.
If you would like to help you can drop it off at a meeting night at the lodge.  The second thing our girls will be doing is providing all the Easter eggs for the Kids Kottage Easter Egg Hunt.  We are in need of plastic eggs and goodies for inside. We will except plastic eggs, candy, stickers, and temporary tattoos. They have asked that small toys not be placed in the eggs as they can become a chking hazard for younger children. For more information on helping us make this terms Service Project a success please e-mail us here.
